SavArt History:

Mike Savage is a local artist who has established a name for himself and his artwork in the Kansas City area over the past 35 years. After owning and operating his own gallery for 10+ years (including numerous seasonal pop-up's on the Country Club Plaza, Mike has returned to working from his studio and taking on numerous commission projects. Whether it's in JJ's Restaraunt, Brandon-Jacobs Gallery in Brookside, or in hundreds of homes in KC, you are sure to recognize his undeniably whimsical-styled work.

Personal Responsibilities:

• Building relationships with new and returning clients when purchasing commission pieces.

• Strengthening social media presence through Instagram, Facebook, and monthly newsletters.

• Organize and maintain a streamline scheduling system for the artist.

• Partnering with local Kansas City galleries and businesses to sell Mike Savage originals and giclée prints.

About the Prague Visitor Magazine:

A monthly art, entertainment and events print magazine focused on tourists and expats in Prague, Czech Republic. With distribution of 50,000 per month to hotels, cafes, restaurants and cultural centers, the Prague Visitor partners with TripAdvisor for content.

Personal Responsibilities:

• Collaborated in the design and creation of layouts using Adobe programs.

• Responsible for the actual distribution of magazines throughout the city.

• Wrote on-line reviews of tourist attractions in Prague.

• Managed their social media through daily updates and creative content on Instagram and Facebook.

About Blue Dream:

Blue Dream Designs is a jewelry business started by two friends wanting to share their creative designs to college students on a budget. Each piece is hand made and unique. We use social media to showcase our work and update followers on upcoming events.

Personal Responsibilities:

• Create unique, stylish jewelry at an affordable price.

• Use of Microsoft Excel to budget supplies purchased, items sold, and profit eared.

• Hold quarterly trunk-shows to sell jewelry as well as host a fun event to bring together friends and family.

About KKG Recruitment:

Sorority recruitment is a week-long process for each sorority to showcase their best assets to potential new members in hopes of recruiting new members. This is a volunteer position which involving months of preparation leading up to the first week of recruitment.

​

Personal Responsibilities:

• Motivating 200 active members throughout the week in order to keep spirits high and intensify energy.

• Instructing all active members on the proper ways to showcase Kappa Kappa Gamma.

• Creating and designing new apparel within budget for members to wear for the week of recruitment.  

• Follow strict guidelines through Kappa Nationals and KU’s Formal Recruitment handbook.
